Todays featured track is "Haters" (also known as "I'm A Singer") By M.I.A from her third album /\/\/\Y/\ (pronounced "Maya"). This track may have been recorded in response to a recent New York Times incident, in which M.I.A was misquoted in the piece M.I.A.’s Agitprop Pop. M.I.A then posted recordings from the chat on her website, as well as New York Times reporter Lynn Hirshberg’s phone number to her twitter. This goes to show you, don't fu*k with M.I.A.
Album set to drop July 13th via label Neet Recordings/Interscope.
The word "DEAD" is a slang intensifier meaning "very". "RABBIT" is a phonetic corruption of the Irish word ráibéad, meaning "man to be feared". Thus, "DEADRABBIT" means a man to be greatly feared.
